AMIS DE ROLLAND PILAIN

The association is dedicated to the French car brand Rolland Pilain, founded in Tours in 1906. The association was founded in 1986, the year of the 80th anniversary of the firm's creation. Its statutes were filed with the Prefecture of Indre & Loire.

Among its members are descendants of the Pilain family as well as owners, admirers of the brand and lovers of automobile history. The aim is to advance knowledge and the reputation of the Rolland-Pilain brand and to facilitate putting preserved examples back into circulation. The association has identified more than 110 still-existing Rolland-Pilain vehicles in France and abroad.

The association organizes or takes part in numerous exhibitions and events, both in the Touraine and other regions, and helps many owners restore their vehicles. It regularly took part in salons such as Retromobile and Epoqu'auto and celebrated the brand's 90th anniversary in 1996 and its centenary in 2006. Those who are fond of Rolland Pilain can join the association.
