Združenie veteránistov Turca

The Združenie veteránistov Turca is a civic association (občianske združenie) based in Košťany nad Turcom, Slovakia. Its purpose is to study the history of motoring, to renovate and operate historic vehicles and to present them to the public.

The association was founded in 2010 and registered with the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic on 3 December 2010. The background was that owners of historic vehicles from Martin and the surrounding area knew and met each other, but mostly acted individually or in clubs of neighbouring districts. After the end of Zväzarm, there was no organisation for owners of historic vehicles in the Turiec region.

The association's tasks include locating, repairing and renovating historic vehicles, operating them, and holding exhibitions and public presentations. The association is a member of the Association of Collectors of Historic Vehicles of Slovakia, the national body of F.I.V.A. It also cooperates with the international federation F.I.V.A. and with other veteran clubs.
