York Historic Vehicle Group

York Historic Vehicle Group is York's classic club for cars, commercials and motorbikes. The club was formed over 30 years ago and brings together people interested in classics or interesting road vehicles.

All vehicle classes over 15 years old or otherwise interesting are welcome, including cars, commercials, military vehicles and more. The main event is the historic vehicle rally at the Knavesmire at York racecourse in September, considered the biggest classic rally in town.

Regular activities include a club evening with drinks as well as outings such as the Drive it Day to Sherburn Aero and a bring-a-vehicle night. All events are open to the public, and non-members are also welcome. Members and visitors with classic cars, commercials and motorcycles of any condition are welcome.
