Veterán Tatra Club Šenkvice

The Veterán Tatra Club Šenkvice is a registered association (občianske združenie) based in Šenkvice. The municipality lies in the Little Carpathians, about 25 km from Bratislava.

The association was founded in February 2015 and describes itself as a young association. It chose the name because the first restored vehicle was a Tatra. The place name in the association's name is meant to raise the profile of the municipality as well as the association.

The association wants to bring the history of motoring closer to people, which it regards as part of the national and cultural heritage of the ancestors. Younger generations are to be shown how skilled fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers were.
