Veterán klub Bratislava

Veterán klub Bratislava is a club for historic vehicles based in Bratislava, Slovakia. The clubrooms are located in the transport museum (Múzeum dopravy) in the city.

The club was founded on 7 August 1972 as the first club of historic vehicle fans in Slovakia, then under the name Veteran Car Club Bratislava. In 1974 the first edition of the revived race "500 km slovenských" took place, described as the first competition of historic vehicles in Slovakia. Since 1991 it has been registered with the ÚAMK of the Slovak Republic. In 1999 the transport museum in Bratislava was opened, for which the club acts as guarantor. Most of the car and motorcycle exhibits come from club collections.

Club meetings take place every Thursday at 7 p.m. in the clubrooms. Interested people from among fans of motoring history are welcome.
