The Club is dedicated to preserving the historical heritage from a cultural, scientific, technical and practical perspective.

The Club was founded on 26 October 1983 to protect the historical automobile and motorcycle heritage. The first headquarters was located at the Circolo Montecitorio of the Chamber of Deputies employees.

The Club assists members in finding information useful for the preservation, maintenance and proper restoration of vehicles. It organises meetings, events and gatherings to bring the public, especially young people, closer to the culture of historic motoring. The Club operates as an ASI-affiliated club and serves as a reference point for enthusiasts, owners and collectors.
