Veteran Car Club of Great Britain

About the club
The Veteran Car Club of Great Britain is the motoring club for all cars manufactured before 1919. The club is based in Ashwell, Hertfordshire, close to the Cambridgeshire borders.
The club is dedicated to the acquisition, restoration, exhibition and maintenance of Veteran and Edwardian vehicles, cars built before 1919. It was founded in 1930, following that year's London to Brighton Run. From 1976 the club operated from Jessamine House, and in 1991 a barn on the grounds was converted into today's headquarters.
The club holds runs and meets across the country throughout the year and maintains an exhibition presence at veteran car auctions and larger car shows. A bi-monthly magazine, the Gazette, informs members with news and articles.
Membership is open even to those who do not own a Veteran or Edwardian car; almost half of the members are Associate members. There are seven types of membership, and membership is available worldwide.
