The Maico Owners Club

The Maico Owners Club is a long established owners club in Great Britain, whose roots go back to the late 1950s. It originated from the SURREY MAICO CLUB, formed during the heyday of scootering in the 1950s, which built up a large membership in the 1960s.

As scooter sales declined and most one-make clubs folded, only the SURREY MAICO CLUB and the MAICO CLUB G.B. survived.

The club is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of all Maico motorcycles and scooters circa 1930 to the 1960s. Originally focused on scooters, the club now caters for all types of Maico. Some of the original members are still in the club, and it is through their knowledge that the club can help new members. The club also aims to be a platform through which like-minded enthusiasts worldwide can keep in touch with each other.
