The Leyland Society

The Leyland Society is a club founded in 1998 dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of Leyland vehicles. The focus is on Leyland buses, lorries and related engineering heritage.

The club brings together enthusiasts, owners, restorers and historians and promotes interest in Leyland vehicles through events, publications, archives and social gatherings. Members share knowledge, photographs, restoration advice and personal memories.

Activities include its own annual Gathering as well as a magazine called Torque. The Society is run by a committee of elected trustee directors.

Membership is open to those passionate about classic vehicles, industrial history or simply meeting like-minded people.
