Sunnfjord Veteranvogn Klubb

The club is open to all types of veteran vehicles, regardless of type and make.

The association was founded on 23 March 1979 to preserve historic vehicles and the surrounding environment. In its early years the club used premises in an old cement factory in Førde, before new premises at Reset in Førde were completed in 1990; in autumn 2017 additional premises in Vassenden in Jølster were added.

The club's main event is the Firdaløpet, held every year since its founding in 1979, and with about 100 participating vehicles it is the largest veteran vehicle race in the region. In addition, the club organises joint trips and other social events, sometimes together with other clubs, and provides members with a workshop and garage facility.
