Sunbeam Motor Cycle Club

The Sunbeam Motor Cycle Club Ltd caters for veteran, vintage and post vintage motorcycles and their enthusiasts. The club began as a one make club but later opened to machines of any make.

Founded in 1924, the club remains one of the oldest clubs in the country. The inaugural meeting was held at the London showrooms of John Marston Ltd, followed days later by a rally in Richmond Park.

Today the club organises non-competitive road runs including the Pioneer Run from Epsom Downs to Shoreham, the Graham Walker Memorial Run, and around eleven other runs. The club runs the Pioneer Register, awards the Pinhard Prize and publishes a bi-monthly club magazine.

The club sees itself as a friendly, supportive community for all classes of pre-1940 motorcycles, regardless of country of manufacture.
