About the club
The Southern Classics Society is a club for classic vehicle enthusiasts in the South East of England. The club is open to all makes and classes of vehicle and sees itself as an alternative to single-make clubs.
The society was founded in early 1991 from a group of Southern Water plc employees who owned classic vehicles. The club is now fully independent and self-funded, and is still regarded as one of the leading classic car clubs in the South East.
The club organises six main shows each year at various venues in the South East, as well as regular breakfast meetings and drives for members and non-members. In past years, the club has also organised its own cross-channel car tours to France, Holland and Belgium.
Membership is open to all classic vehicle enthusiasts, regardless of make or vehicle type.
