Society of Automotive Historians in Britain

The SAHB is an independent organisation originally established in 1980 as a Chapter of the American-based Society of Automotive Historians. The aim is to encourage research, preservation, recording, and publication of historic facts about the development of the automobile.

Membership is open to all who share these aims, whether amateur or professional status. Membership also includes corporations, museums and other institutions.

The society publishes SAHB Times quarterly, an annual journal Aspects of Motoring History, and a Membership Directory. One or two seminars are held each year with presentations on motoring history topics.
