SCOOTER CLUB DU BEARN

The Scooter Club du Béarn is based in Gabaston and was founded at the end of 2012. The club is dedicated to Vespa and Lambretta scooters as well as other classic scooters, including both old and more modern Vespa models.

Before the current club was founded, the Vespa Club Béarnais already existed in Pau and was active until the mid-1960s. In 2016, the Scooter Club du Béarn organized its first Vespa Parade in Pau, leading to affiliation with the Vespa Club de France.

The club now has around fifty members and meets monthly for a social gathering and a monthly ride. Three main events mark the year: in July the Tour du Béarn en Vespa, a regularity rally in teams of three, in September the Vespa Parade as a national event under the Vespa Club de France, and in November a parts fair for Vespa and mopeds in Gabaston.

The club is open to owners of mainly old but also modern Vespas as well as enthusiasts of Lambretta and other classic scooters.
