Salop Yesteryear Motor Club

SYMC is one of Shropshire's longest established clubs for all makes of classic, vintage and older cars and motorbikes. The club was founded in 1963 to further interest in motoring and motorsport with an emphasis on cars 20 years and older. Today many members have post-war cars, but there is still a good showing of older vehicles, some dating back to the Edwardian period.

The club holds monthly meetings on the third Tuesday, with summer drives to Shropshire pubs and winter talks and quizzes in a village hall. The club organises various motoring events throughout the year such as runs, treasure hunts, shows, driving tests and trials. Once a year, an open evening is held to which other motoring clubs and the public are invited.

Membership is open to all who own or are interested in cars and motorcycles generally older than about 20 years.
