Later the focus was expanded to all Saab with freewheel, including 95/96, Sonett and the first Saab 99.

The club was founded in 1977, initially focused on two-stroke models. Today the club is open to anyone with heart and interest for Saab, regardless of model year.

A main activity is running a parts warehouse, mainly for Saab 93-95-96-96V4 and some parts for 99-900, 9-3 and 9-5. Other activities include the members' magazine 9-Posten published four times a year, a winter meeting in February, a national meeting usually at Whitsun, and separate meetings of the local branches.
