Road Roller Association

The Road Roller Association is a club in the United Kingdom for enthusiasts of road rollers. It is dedicated to preserving steam and motor rollers as well as other historic road-making equipment such as living vans, stone crushers, grit spreaders, water carts, tar and asphalt boilers and hand tools.

The club was founded in 1974 by a small group of enthusiasts and now has over 500 members in the UK and abroad.

The association organises demonstrations of stone crushing and traditional road making at various locations and publishes a quarterly magazine called 'Rolling'. There is also an archive collection, and members can receive assistance with insurance and vehicle registration.

Anyone interested in road making in all its forms can become a member; owning a roller is not required.
