Railton Owners Club

The Railton Owners Club is the club for owners and enthusiasts of Brough Superior, Railton, Hudson Essex and Terraplane vehicles. It was founded in 1956 by a group of Railton owners.

The initial aims were to arrange social events and car gatherings, provide technical information and communicate via a regular magazine that became 'The Bulletin'. Later, owners of Brough Superior, Essex, Terraplane and Hudson vehicles were also welcomed as members, since many models share the same mechanical components.

Since its early days the club has maintained a register of all known Railtons, Broughs, Terraplanes and Hudsons and offers members technical documents and a spares scheme. Annual national meetings are held once or twice a year in different locations of the UK and include road trips, visits and concours and restoration judging. Occasionally, European tours are also organised by individual members. Membership normally numbers around 200 and extends around the world.
