Pärnumaa Vanatehnika Klubi

The club unites natural and legal persons who are interested in old technology, engage with it, or support it.

The roots of the movement go back to 1966, when an old-technology parade was organized in Tartumaa. In 1976 the UNIC club was founded, whose Western region operated until 1990 under the name Pärnumaa Vanatehnika Klubi. Since 14 November 2010, when a new statute was adopted, the club has operated under the name Pärnumaa Vanatehnika Klubi.

During the winter season, members meet for a coffee evening at the Konse Motel on the last Thursday of each month. Over the last ten years there have been many joint trips with larger or smaller groups, both nearby and to more distant places. Participation in old-technology events at surrounding markets has already become a tradition, as have the self-organized Maima Masinapäevad and Konse Vanatehnikapäevad.

Besides those interested from Pärnumaa, there are also members from neighboring counties; there are currently about 30 active members.
