NOSTALBUS VZW

NostalBus is a Belgian non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation of historic bus heritage. The club restores, maintains, and makes old line buses operational again, particularly from the SNCV era from 1977 to 1991.

The collection includes several historical buses from different time periods, most of which are roadworthy. Currently, a green Van Hool-Fiat bus from 1970 is being restored, originally built for the company Siau from Dendermonde and operated on behalf of the SNCB.

The club currently has around 130 members, who serve as drivers, technicians, activity organisers or helpers. Workdays are regularly organised to carry out tasks on the buses and at the depots in Lochristi and Berendrecht. The buses can be seen at cultural and historical events such as heritage days, and rides in the restored buses are also offered.
