North Staffs & Cheshire Traction Engine Club

The club is based at Klondyke Mill in Draycott in the Clay. The club is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of vintage items.

The club owns an Aveling and Porter steam roller from 1914. An Aveling and Barford diesel road roller has been restored by club members and is now fully operational.

The site offers members space to store engines and living vans, along with a clubroom and kitchen. Steam parties are regularly held in June and October. Members receive four newsletters a year and free entry to these events.

Membership does not require owning a vintage vehicle, only an interest in vintage things.
