MILITARY VEHICULES CONSERVATION GROUPE

MVCG France is a French federation for the conservation of military vehicles based in Isigny-sur-Mer. The federation brings together around forty clubs in France as well as partners from Belgium and Luxembourg, and has an impressive fleet of vehicles.

The federation was founded in 1978 in Charente, after the founder had already taken part in liberation events in Paris in 1976. The statutes were filed on 2 March 1978, and six presidents have since led the organisation.

Each year, different clubs organise federal congresses that enable exchange between member clubs. Every five years since 1979, around 6 June, a federal gathering takes place featuring the largest parade in Normandy as part of the landing commemorations.

The federation continues to evolve, including new generations of collectible military vehicles, the creation of reenactment groups with young recruits, and the modernisation of communication tools.
