MG Enthusiasts Club Ireland

The club caters for pre-war and classic MGs as well as more modern models such as MG F, MG TF, ZR, ZS and ZT.

The club was formed in 1981, after MG production ceased in 1980 and Irish MG owners became worried about keeping their cars on the road. After a meeting attended by around seventy owners and the election of an ad hoc committee, the club officially came into existence in February 1982, after closer cooperation with the MG Car Club, established in 1947, did not materialise.

A regular meeting called 'Noggin and Natter' takes place on the third Sunday of every month. The club also organises an annual tour, a technical day and a club BBQ.

The club has more than 150 members who support each other with purchases, restoration and repair of their cars.
