Messerschmitt Owners Club
CV35 Leek Wootton, Großbritannien
About the club
The club has an unbroken history stretching back to 1956, when members could buy new Messerschmitts and use them as daily transport. Formed largely for social purposes around regular meets and a magazine, the club's ethos changed after production ended in 1964 and spare parts became a problem. In 2005 the club became a company limited by guarantee.
The club continues to publish the magazine Kabinews six times a year and organises an annual rally in the UK attracting enthusiasts from far and wide. In addition, an Annual General Meeting and two members' consultation meetings are held each year. Through the Partsmart parts department, the club provides parts to restore Messerschmitt vehicles and offers a worldwide delivery service.
Membership is open to enthusiasts in the UK and overseas, and owning a vehicle is not required. Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December, but one can join at any time during the year.
