LA TRACTION UNIVERSELLE
26110 NYONS, Frankreich
About the club
The club is entirely dedicated to the Citroën Traction Avant. It was founded in 1968 in the Vosges and was initially limited to cabriolets, coupés and special bodies. From 1970 the club organized itself into regional sections that organize their own activities.
The club consists of 17 regional sections covering the whole country, plus the Traction Universelle Belge in Belgium. Each year the club organizes or takes part in more than a hundred events and is present at major classic car shows. In 2014 and 2024 larger anniversary gatherings were held with over 800 and over 1,000 vehicles respectively.
The club publishes the quarterly magazine Traction Avant with articles written by members.
