About the club
Membership is open to people from Växjö and the surrounding area who are interested in older vehicles and technical history. The club is one of the country's older veteran vehicle clubs and was originally founded in 1966, though its current name dates from 1972.
The aim is to preserve and restore culturally and historically interesting vehicles and technology, as well as exchange experiences during restorations. Club meetings take place on the first Wednesday of the month, except during the summer months, when members usually meet at a pleasant café. Recurring gatherings include the Nationaldagsrundan on the national holiday, the Höstrallyt held together with Wexiö Motorveteraner in early October, and the Luciafika as the last meeting of the year. The club also has an extensive library of older technical and vehicle literature, accessible to members.
Membership is open to people from Växjö and the surrounding area who are interested in older vehicles and technical history. The club is affiliated with MHRF, which means members can obtain a special vehicle insurance.
