Klub Miłośników Komunikacji Miejskiej w Białymstoku

The Klub Miłośników Komunikacji Miejskiej w Białymstoku (KMKM Białystok) is an association of friends of public transport in Białystok. It describes itself as a Stowarzyszenie, i.e. an association.

The club owns a collection of historic buses. These include vehicles of the types Jelcz, Autosan, Ikarus and Mercedes-Benz. Some of them have already been restored, others are currently being restored or are waiting for restoration. Some of the vehicles previously belonged to municipal transport companies, including the one in Białystok. Restoration takes place as far as time and financial means allow.

Activities include free guided rides during the summer holidays and excursions through the Podlasie region. On the occasion of the European Museum Night, the club ran a special museum line. It also offers one of its buses for hire, for example for weddings. The club holds meetings, for which a date is given on the website.

The club invites anyone who likes buses and is interested in public transport to join. Interested people can come to a meeting and then decide for themselves whether to join. For persons under 16 there is a form for parental consent.
