Klub historických vozidiel Holíč

The Klub historických vozidiel Holíč (Veteranklub Holíč) is a club for historic vehicles based in Holíč, Slovakia. The club regards collecting historic vehicles as a voluntary activity aimed at preserving technical monuments, technical procedures and the technical documentation of historic vehicles.

The club was founded in 1994. In that year the AMK Holíč was renamed KHV Holíč, which belonged to the Asociácia historických vozidiel Slovenskej republiky. The Záhorácka Veterán Rallye was held in Holíč starting in 1988. Since 2002 the club has taken part in a rally in France every year. Since 2008 it has organised an Auto-Moto fair combined with an exhibition of historic vehicles in the grounds of Holíč Castle.

The club has 30 members. Once a year it organises the Záhorácka Veterán Rallye in Petrova Ves, in cooperation with the local municipal office. It also organises a spring and an autumn Auto-Moto fair every year, together with the Holíč town office.
