About the club
The Kingdom Veteran Vintage & Classic Car Club (KVVCCC) is a club for vintage and classic car enthusiasts in Kerry and surrounding counties in Ireland.
The club emerged after the 'Rose of Tralee Run' at the end of August 1979, when the idea to form a club arose. In September 1979 the Kerry Veteran Car Club was formed, and the first run took place on 28th October 1979. In the 1990s the club changed its name to the Kingdom Veteran Vintage and Classic Car Club to accommodate the broad range of vehicles owned by its members.
Regular activities include annual runs such as the Ring of Kerry Run and the Autumn Run, both based at the Kenmare Bay Hotel in Kenmare.
Membership is open to anyone interested in owning and preserving vintage and classic cars; the car must be 30 years old. The club has a membership of over 150, from both inside and outside the county of Kerry.
