About the club
Jersey Old Motor Club Ltd. is a club for owners of old vehicles on the island of Jersey. Members' vehicles were built before 31 December 1955, with the majority predating World War 2 and some dating back to the turn of the century.
The club was founded in November 1966. Since the club's first continental rally in 1973, members have taken part in rallies worldwide and maintain close links with other clubs in the UK and France.
The club organises a large number of motoring and social events, with the Twelve Churches Cavalcade on Boxing Day, the Liberation Day display and the Easter cavalcade being the most high profile locally. A monthly newsletter reports on activities and upcoming events.
Membership is also open to people who do not own such a vehicle but are interested in one. Membership stands at around 200 with approximately 350 vehicles from over fifty different marques.
