Historic Caravan Club
B62 Halesowen, Großbritannien
About the club
The Historic Caravan Club is dedicated to the preservation and use of historic caravans in Great Britain. The aim is to promote the restoration, preservation, use and display of early historic caravans and to increase awareness of this part of motoring and social history.
The club covers caravans up to 1970, including the horse-drawn ancestors of the touring caravan. It was founded on 16 January 1993 by a group of historic caravan enthusiasts at a meeting in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
Regular activities include organising and participating in rallies as well as issuing a six-weekly news sheet and a periodic magazine. The club also publishes the club magazine 'The Wanderer' six times a year.
Membership does not require ownership of a historic caravan, and attending club social rallies is possible without one either.
