About the club
The Highland Classic Motorcycle Club is based in Inverness, Scotland. The club is dedicated to classic motorcycles and three-wheelers.
The club was founded in 1983 by a group of classic motorcycle enthusiasts to encourage the use and repair/restoration of classic motorcycles and three-wheelers. The club now has over 120 members.
Monthly meetings take place at 8pm on the first Tuesday of each month (except January) at the Chieftain Hotel, Inverness. From February to November, club runs are organised, including shorter runs for older or smaller capacity bikes. The club also holds the Loch Ness Rally, which usually attracts over 100 entrants with motorcycles ranging from pre-war to modern classics.
Membership does not require owning a classic motorcycle; interest in motorcycles, whether new, older or classic, and in three-wheelers over 15 years old is sufficient.
