Essex Historic Military Vehicle Association

The Essex HMVA is a registered charity based in Essex. It aims to help preserve military history, vehicles and artefacts.

Members' collections include bicycles, motorcycles, jeeps, land rovers, lorries, artillery and tanks. The club was formed in 2014 and now has well over 250 members.

Monthly evening meetings are held at Woodham Ferrers, near Chelmsford. The club also runs its own events such as the Winter Gathering and the annual Essex HMVA Show. Members also take part in commemorations such as D-Day and VE Day events.

Membership is open to both vehicle owners and non-vehicle owners, such as living history reenactors, military collectors or historians. Living in Essex is not required, with members across the UK and Europe.
