Colchester Vintage Motor Club

The club is for vehicles manufactured before 1939. It was formed in 1967 by a group of young enthusiasts and now has over 200 members.

Owning a pre-war vehicle is not required, but some events are restricted to such drivers. Motor cycles and commercial vehicles are welcome in addition to cars.

In winter there are talks, film shows, quizzes and antiques evenings, in summer road runs and an annual camping weekend. A monthly newsletter keeps members informed of local and national events.

There are two classes of membership, full and junior.
