CLUB GOLF GTI SéRIE 1

The club is dedicated to the first-series Volkswagen Golf GTI, produced from 1976 to 1983 and considered the best sports car of its generation. Vehicles in original configuration, with or without period accessories, without major modification, are accepted.

The club was founded on 16 July 2000 by seven founding members, after a first-generation Golf GTI drew positive attention at the Rallye Alsace-Vosges 2000.

The club organizes dynamic and touristic outings and takes part in classic car shows such as Rétromobile, Epoqu’Auto, AutoRétro in Chambéry and the Motor Festival in Avignon. Members have access to an internal bulletin published three times a year, a discussion forum and a shop for clothing and accessories.

The club is open to people who share the same passion, own or wish to acquire a first-generation Golf GTI, and share the association's spirit.
