CLUB AUTO RETRO 36

Auto Rétro Sport is an event organised by the Lions Club La Châtre en Berry, held at the Circuit Maurice Tissandier in La Châtre. Cars of the makes Alfa Roméo, Alpine, Porsche, Cobra, Mercedes, BMW, Renault and Peugeot as well as single-seaters are shown; more than 200 vehicles gather each year.

The event was created in June 2002 by the Lions Club de La Châtre. The circuit used in its original form was created by a Lions Club member back in 1955.

The event regularly takes place on a weekend in June, with demonstration runs on the track, track rides for visitors and an accompanying rally drive on Saturday. More than 100 volunteers are involved in organising the two-day event, whose proceeds go to charitable causes.
