Bourne Motor Racing Club

The Bourne Motor Racing Club is based in Bourne and is dedicated to the town's motor racing heritage. Since 1920, the town of Bourne has been closely linked to motor racing history through Raymond Mays and his Bugattis, and later BRMs.

The club was founded in 1996 and has since organised monthly club nights with talks on motorsport topics. Meetings take place on the second Thursday of each month at the Bourne Corn Exchange, with talks starting at 8pm. Over the years the venue changed several times, including a move to The Coach House at the Angel Hotel, before returning to The Bourne Corn Exchange in 2013.

Besides the talks, the club organises visits to motorsport-related businesses and collections, such as Radical Cars, ProDrive, the Rolls Royce Heritage Museum and Lotus Cars. Anyone interested in a topic can attend a club night even without becoming a member.
