Automóvil Club de Alicante

The Automóvil Club de Alicante is a non-profit association organized as a sports club, based in Alicante. It is a member of the Federación de Automovilismo de la Comunidad Valenciana, the Real Federación Española de Automovilismo and the Federación Española de Vehículos Antiguos (FEVA).

The club was founded on 21 March 1930 with the aim of promoting motorsport, both organizationally and in participation. Over its history, numerous competitions have been organized, including gymkhanas, slaloms, regularity races and hill climbs.

The Escudería Alicante with its Trofeo Social is closely linked to the club, as is the Club de Oficiales, which offers a meeting and training point for officials.

Every four years a new board is elected, composed of experienced people from motorsport.
