Automobilklub Śląski

Automobilklub Śląski is a motoring association based in Katowice. It has a history of almost one hundred years and operates on two levels: a statutory one and a commercial one.

The statutory scope includes motor sport, caravanning and navigation tourism, and road safety. The club trains sports judges, event safety judges and competitors. Its instructors also run training in roadside rescue. The commercial activity consists of vehicle inspection stations.

The club was founded in 1924. The events are also aimed at a large group of owners of historic vehicles. For them, a museum of historic vehicles was created in Zabrze, which operated until 2021. The club's flagship event is the Rajd Wisły rally, organised since 1951.

Membership requires an application, an entry fee and an annual fee. The application can be completed online.
