Automobilklub Polski

Automobilklub Polski is an association (Stowarzyszenie) based in Warsaw. Its aim is to spread motoring culture, to popularise motor sport and motor tourism, and to promote road safety rules.

The club is divided into several commissions. These include a commission for historic vehicles with a subcommission for historic sport, a commission for American vehicles, a commission for motorcycle sport and one for caravanning. The club also offers driving school courses, driving technique training, room rental and insurance, including a special liability insurance for vehicles over 25 years old.

The history goes back to 7 December 1909, when the first organisational meeting of the Society of Automobilists of the Kingdom of Poland, an association of enthusiasts and pioneers of motoring, took place in Warsaw.
