The association was founded in June 2009 under the 1901 law. The club operates in partnership with other associations, notably the Automobile Club de l’Ouest.

Each year, vehicle gatherings, leisure outings on the racetrack, a car show with the ACO and the Auto Moto Rétro Festival are organized. Every first Sunday of the month, a meeting takes place at the Péristyle in Lorient.
